Upcoming Election Information
Spring Primary Election will be held Feb. 21. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. In-person absentee voting will begin on Feb. 7 and will go until Feb. 17. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Village Hall. The last day to register by mail or online is Feb. 1 for the Spring Primary Election, otherwise you will need to register at Village Hall or on Election Day.
Spring General Election will be held on April 4. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. In-person absentee voting begins on March 21 and will go until March 31. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Village Hall.
Village Board Meeting Date Change
Change to Curbside Garbage Collection
As a reminder refuse may not be placed curbside prior to 6:00 PM on the day before collection, and no later than 7:00 AM on the day of collection.
2022 Property Tax Bills
Property tax payments may be paid online, mailed in, placed in the Village Hall drop box or paid in person at Village Hall. Village Hall is open Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Water Meter Replacement Project
The meter installation will start in the West side of the Village. You will receive a welcome letter a few weeks prior to the installers being in your area. After that you will receive a letter with instructions on how to schedule an appointment for your water meter replacement.
2022 Community Survey Results
A total of 802 responses were submitted to the Village of Greendale Community Survey administered in August 2022, representing 13.9% of all Village households. The survey results will serve as a guide to the Village Board in future decision processes. A survey results report is now available to download.
Redevelopment of former Boston Store Site to include Apartments and Retail
On December 21, 2021 the Greendale Village Board approved Barrett Lo Visionary Development’s proposal for a mixed-use development at the site of the former Boston Store property at Southridge Mall that will bring upscale market-rate apartment options for residents, modern retail amenities and significant new tax base to the community.
