Volunteers

All middle school volunteer positions are full at this time. 1/23/2024

Volunteers help our library operate efficiently and allow us to offer community engagement. Please call or stop in to learn more about the current volunteer opportunities. You'll be asked to review descriptions of open opportunities before completing an application. The minimum age to volunteer is 12 with a parent or guardian's permission.

Volunteers at our library often assist with special events and programs especially for youth, maintain shelves to keep them looking neat and organized, help with copying and basic computer questions like printing and document formatting, pull requested books off the shelves from a daily list, prepare story time crafts, and process books coming through daily delivery. Volunteers are asked to make a regular commitment, but some opportunities are available on an as-needed basis. We match your skills, interests and availability with our open opportunities.

If you are interested in volunteering at the Greendale Public Library, please stop by the front desk to fill out an application.
